A little planning goes a long way toward making your first visit to Wick N Twisted feel effortless. Whether you’re coming solo, on a date, or with a group, here’s everything worth knowing before you walk through the door, so you can relax and enjoy every minute.

Booking Your Visit

Our candle-making classes run at set times throughout the week, and seating is limited, so we recommend reserving your spot ahead of time rather than counting on walking in. Booking online is quick: choose a date and time that works for you, and grab your tickets. If you’re planning a larger group, a private celebration, or a corporate event, give us a call or send an email and we’ll help you set the whole thing up.

How Much Time to Set Aside

Plan for a relaxed couple of hours. The candle pouring itself takes about an hour, and then your candle needs 90 to 120 minutes to cool and set before it’s ready to travel home. That cooling window is part of the fun, not a reason to rush off. It’s your time to settle into the tap room, so come ready to stay a while.

The Fragrance Wall

The heart of the experience is choosing your scent from more than 50 fragrance oils. Take your time here and smell your way through the options. There’s no rush and no wrong choice, and blending your own combination is half the joy. If you’re sensitive to strong smells, just know you’ll encounter a lot of them, so pace yourself and take breaks between sniffs.

The Tap Room

While your candle cools, our tap room is where you’ll hang out. We’re home to Jacksonville Beach’s first self-pour tap wall, so you can pour your own beer, wine, cold brew, or kombucha, with non-alcoholic options available too. Feel free to pour a drink before class even begins. There’s plenty to keep you entertained: arcade games, board and card games, TVs, and free popcorn from our popcorn machine. One important note: outside beverages aren’t allowed, since the tap wall has you covered.

Food and Drink

Getting hungry? You have options. You’re welcome to bring in your own food, have your event catered, or order from the great restaurants nearby to enjoy in the tap room. Between the popcorn, your drinks of choice, and a bite to eat, it’s easy to make an afternoon of it.

A Few Good-to-Knows

Come as you are and arrive a few minutes early to settle in. No experience is needed, so first-timers fit right in. Hosting something more official, like a team meeting or celebration? You can hook up a computer or cast to our TVs for a presentation. And whatever you create, you’ll leave with a candle scented exactly the way you like it.
